- of updating my blog and repentance -

salam,
hope everyone's doing well..urm..i dont really know where to start coz it has been really a while since i last posted anything..3 months i guess..lot of things happened during that period..junior year has started, hws, projects, exams, rugby, ramadhan, eid, and etc. all of which contributed to the not-being-able-to-update-blog syndrom..lol..

3 years encounting, and know im a junior..wow...it feels like it was only 2 3 months ago..i was obeying each and every words of doc v's advices (not the perfect solution) and laughing at his jokes that most of the time..i found really lame..=P well, its not something big, but for me it is a transition from learning all the basic concepts of science to applying it all in the engineering field...things are waaaayyy harder that it was before..nonetheless.. i found it really fun because it really tests my potential...just wanna point out something that really opened my eyes recently....yup..i think you all could have guessed it..ACADEMIC

during the recent JPA visit this weekend, Pn Ruziah pointed out something that somehow make me realize that things have to change.."Average CGPA pelajar2 dkt vandy skrg kalau nak dibandingkan dgn dl...makin merosot "..at first i thougt it was a rumor...but when she told that to me infront of my own very eyes..i was stunned for a while..was i one of the ones that contributed to this decline? that question haunted me for a while but eventually i got over it and decided that...whether or not i was the culprit behind this problem..i will try to improve myself and bring not only myself..but also the ones who that i can help to the top as well...this is a serious matter and this is also a call to all vandy students to wake up from your long sleep and start thinking about the future that lies ahead of you...are we being serious enough in our studies? have we put the same amount of effort to have fun as to when we are studying? if the answer is no..then now is the time for you to make the move..it is never too late to change...for the ones who excel in their studies..drag you friends and help them out in their studies..we should help each other out especially within our batch...who else gonna take care of you here at other than seniors and friends? i'm not asking for everyone to be geeks and nerds..its just..you have to learn to prioritize things..think of your responsibility as a student, a muslim and also a hope to your parents..think of the consequences if something 'really bad' happen to you..who is gonna be responsible for making sure that you are gonna be okay? do we still have the heart to still burden our parents after what we have done? what if your parents are not capable of settling your problem? i am positive that if you know your responsibility and manage your time well, insyaAllah everything will be fine..

i hope everyone got the message here..to my beloved batch..i hope you all understand that..junior year is not when you wanna play around and waste time...its really different from sophomore year and freshmen year..as least..that is what i was told by my senior friends recently..i dont really know if any people would even bother reading this post...but to everyone who have read it..i hope you all take action (this is just a call from a nobody to a group of people that person regard as a family) and i also wanna applogize if i hurt someones feeling due to my carelessness when writing this post...

- Have to go to Alfredo's class even though we already had our finals yesterday. So ridiculous.
- Today is the last summer class I will attend. No summer class in 2009..Noice~
- With yesterday's econ 101 finals, i'm done with liberal arts core..yeay~!
- better stop laghaing and start studying.

Salam..its Tuesday 5.25am in the morning..and I'm working my a** off reeving at Vandy Barnard to earn some extra bucks during the summer..and yup..i compliment myself again for choosing the perfect time to blog considering the exam and quiz that are waiting for me tomorrow..urgh~..

call me emo kid..i don't care..but this is just how i feel right now..i was reading Qayyum's blog when some of his posts just struck me in the heart and made me realize that I'm missing the super seniors very much..they have left vandy for 2 months already but for me it felt like it was only yesterday we were playing soccer together at the sports club field..well..no matter how sad I am..there nothing i can do about it..i guess i just have to suck it up and yup..carry on with this cruel life...

though this is the case..come to think of it..i still have all my friends around me..and yes..the new members of our kampung melayu - the freshmen..im pretty sure they will do a good job filling up the vacancies left by the seniors..to all the seniors who have graduated regardless from which class you are..good luck in your future undertaking..you all will always be missed~! hutang halal ah..hahaha..kidding2..but seriously..kalau nak halalkan pun xpe..hehe..

-Rockband 2-

A bit slow with updates nowadays..you know..too busy with classes...(la sgt..~ haha..)..so here's a post about Rockband 2..the thing that attracts me the most is obviously the ion drum kit..if you ask me..it looked really awesome.~~..but that is just the looks..i dont know how much of a badass it will be..price ranging around 300 bucks for this instrument..which seems reasonable..you know..considering the techs involved in this thing... velocity sensitive pads? i dont know about that..but from what i've read..there's an improvement compared to the 1st version drums...nice~

oh yes..and the guitar..they looked pretty awesome too..they even have casings for the guitars ! gile awesome ah..but yes..of course..thats the only change with the guitars..obviously there will be no strings on the guitar..hurm..i guess..all they need now..is just to come up with a rockband version of the six strings guitar..lol~

Rockband 2 will be out somewhere in September or October..the price of the set (not including the drums) will be around 200 bucks..so..better get your pocket ready..hehe..oh man..~Rockband addiction again~

my awesome trip with an awesome group that was full with awesomeness pt '1'

hey guys..sorry for publishing this post pretty late..been a bit busy today..went out fishing and was doing stuffs..btw..here's the story of my trip to 6 flags Kentucky on Saturday April 5th 2008...the original plan was for everyone to gather infront of Morgan house at 6.30 am and leave at 7.00...but obviously that didn't happen..everyone gathered at 7.30 and we left at 8.00...i was driving noel's car...with noel, nabil and salman..nabil was the co-driver..but he slept all the way though..lol~ went for a stop for a while at mcdonalds to fill our tanks up...and then we continued our journey..

and so..after a 2 hours later..we finally arrived at our destination..6 flags kentucky kingdom yeay!

so..we already arrived...now..where to? to start things up..we decided to go for the mild rides first...we went on the rainbow ride first..syamir seemed to enjoy it a lot..for me..i'd rather save my voice for other thrilling rides..lol~ =D

next stop was the grizzed lighthing...a single loop roller coaster that reverses at some point..kinda scary..but it was fun..! then Chang was next...super long and fast roller coaster that made a few victims dizzy..

we took a brake for a while..stretched our legs for a while at a table..shaved iced was the popular treat for the day...some of us went to the next ride..which was the T2...some of us stayed back enjoying the shaved ice..

it has been a tiring day for some of us..so we decided to make things slow a little bit..and nothing could do that accept for kids rides...so..we went on roller skater..which was a roller coaster for kids..and a merry go round..some of us prefer not to join in this activity..because it was too embarrassing...you know..adults waiting on the line with other kids with their parents seems so wrong..

after that..we planned to ride the thunder run and blizzard river but the waiting time was too long..so the group decided to watch hafiz, khairi, anep, and topeq riding the sky flyer..where u are released from a point where the height is 180 feet from the ground..and guess what..u r the one who's gonna pull the cord..scary~ but tons of fun..trust me...~

after that..we went to several other rides before entering the wet park..at the wet park...most of the guys went swimming at the big surf wave pool..and some of us stayed at the sides..sunbathing mcm mat saleh..lol~ after that...to complete our visit..we went on the ferris wheel and took group pictures..~

all and all..it was really an awesome trip...everyone had a really great time on that day...really wanna go to this place again some other time..now..where do I wanna go next? that doesn't matter i guess..what matters is...see u guys on the next trip..~!
